Willow Tree Angels are one of the most popular collections within Willow Tree since its first introduction in 2000, with each piece having a special meaning. Designed by artist Susan Lordi each of these figurines has an innocence of pure emotion.
Willow Tree Angel of Freedom
The Willow Tree Angel of Freedom is part of the Willow Tree Angels collection.
In response to customer request, Susan Lordi re-carved the Willow Tree Angel of Freedom. The angel holds a wire butterfly in her outstretched hands as a metaphor of freedom and independence. This has a very open interpretation, and can fit a lot of different occasions. For graduates, for a personality with a free spirit, for someone who loves nature and butterflies… in memory of a loved one.
Message on card inside reads: – ‘Allowing dreams to soar.’
Willow Tree Angels seem to resonate greatly with all ages and cultures of people. To some they represent protection, to some they are an outward reminder of inner peace and virtue, and to some they represent a way to remember those who have left this earth. Regardless of personal conviction, angels seem to provide comfort to those searching for answers in a world with so many unknowns.
